(She/Her)
As a master’s level intern with Children & Families of Iowa, I am on the path to becoming a mental health therapist. My bachelor’s degree in psychology, with minors in mental health and family services, was obtained from the University of Northern Iowa in the spring of 2023. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, also at the University of Northern Iowa.
While I have a particular interest in working with children and older adults (65+), I am eager to gain experience across the entire lifespan, ensuring that all age groups are considered in my practice. My goal is to ensure that individuals of all ages feel seen, heard, and supported in my practice.
A cheerleader, guide, and safe space are only a few of the roles that I look forward to being in with my clients. I understand that attending counseling can be a significant step for many, so I am here to support clients in whatever way they may need. Mental health is a deep passion of mine, shaped by personal, academic, and professional experiences. I’m grateful for the opportunity to channel that passion into meaningful work with Children & Families of Iowa, where I aim to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
I enjoy spending my downtime with family, friends, and most importantly, my dog and two cats. I am a huge animal lover. Alongside that, I enjoy being creative and going on random outings; I love a good sporting event (especially basketball) or concert!
